About Martello Piling

Martello Piling Ltd was established by the then directors John Hollingsworth, James Blackwell and Jim Unsworth to offer a revolutionary new piling system which enables the construction of large diameter piles in restricted access and low headroom conditions. The board has recently been strengthened by the appointment of Paul Gwynne to the position of Operations Director with responsibility for production, quality and performance.

The directors of Martello Piling each have more than 25 years experience in the piling and foundation industry and have a personal commitment to the development of creative solutions and innovative new techniques. Martello Piling design and build their own piling rigs and therefore have the ability to tailor any equipment to meet the needs of specific projects.

Our name and company logo the "Martello Tower" were chosen as a symbol of the enduring strength and stability of the Martello coastal defence towers built during the Napoleonic wars.
