Martello Piling used their low headroom MP4000 series rig to install 900mm diameter piles to 19.0m.

Gloucester South West By-Pass

New piles were required to strengthen the existing piers to the By-Pass, and Martello Piling were employed to install 600mm diameter piles, fully cased, to a depth of 13.0m. The Piles were installed in 5.0m of headroom using the MP4000 series piling rig, digging through soft alluvial material, and founding into firm clay.
